The Inkpress studio is a design project set up between illustrators Robert Reader and Ally Gore.
Both studied at the Surrey Institute of Art and Design, gaining a BA Hons Degree in Photography and Textile Design respectively.
Based in Cornwall UK, they have collaborated on many illustrations, photographic and design projects over a 25 year period.
Ally is a traditional painter. All of her pieces are created by hand using acrylic and gouache. Inspired by her love of traditional textiles, colour, plants, nature and the beautiful Cornish coast.

Robert's illustrations are born out of a love of Mid-century graphic design and illustration. His Ink Press designs won the prestigious 'Henry Cole Classic Award' which recognises card collections that have stood the test of time.
The Inkpress studio is the couples first outlet for their illustrative work. Focusing on art cards and prints taken from their award wining card ranges.
